Building Bridges to Brighter Futures

Nickel-Liberia's journey is an inspiring testament to the power of determination and the pursuit of a dream. Born out of a vision received through a dream in 2015, the founder of Nickel-Liberia faced skepticism when initially sharing the idea of raising funds to build fifteen modern primary and secondary schools across the fifteen counties of Liberia. However, undeterred by doubt, the organization persevered, and after four years, they achieved a remarkable milestone by taking 7,000 children from farms to school in Grand Bassa County.
In addition to their impactful work in education, Nickel-Liberia has also made significant strides in addressing the critical issue of inadequate seating in public schools. They have recycled 5,000 chairs and produced over 3,000 brand new chairs in Montserrado and Grand Bassa Counties, bringing much-needed comfort to students and facilitating their learning experience. This incredible journey showcases the power of determination and the ability to turn dreams into reality, as Nickel-Liberia continues to make a profound difference in the lives of children and communities in Liberia.
